It was a day to celebrate, raise money, and fight for a cure. The CW50 Street Team enjoyed a cheerful morning as we walked through Chene Park for the Race for the Cure breast cancer walk.
“It means strength and hope to see all of the people come out and support the cause to find the cure for breast cancer,” said Curpri Burns.
The park was filled with over 20 teams wearing bright colors and big smiles as they supported loved ones. Many groups were delighted to share their stories while encouraging that more people come out and make a difference. The best part was that they could help find a cure just by walking.
“I can do this walk to help raise money because they kick in and they help a lot,” said Tracey Owens.
The Street Team was pleased to be at this event to honor the survivors and support those still battling. We support the foundation as they raise money to help find a cure!
