he CW50 Street Team hit a home run at the 16th Annual Willie Horton’s batting for kid’s event at Comerica Park. Over 400 kids joined us for the excitement of the occasion and for the love of baseball. The kids gathered to run, bat and learn the fundamentals of the game. Kids were split up into teams at different stations to engage closer with their peers and volunteers. Baseball players from the Metro Detroit area were on hand to assist the kids at each stop.
A variety of cultures were well represented at the International Festival in Canton. The festival was inside the annual Liberty Fest. About 40,000 attendees came out to support their community.
The CW50 Street Team headed out for another weekend at the wonderful Ann Arbor Art Fair! Though it was very hot and humid, the crowd did not disappoint. Thousands came out to explore the different artworks displayed across the downtown area.
Thousands of people came dressed and ready for the annual Comic-Con at Macomb County College.
The weekend event brought in people from all over the United States. Booths were set-up with vendors who were given the opportunity to sell merchandise.
Campus Martius Park was filled with people as everyone celebrated the annual Meridian Winter Blast. This Detroit staple has been going strong for 12 years now and people of all ages enjoyed the many activities that the event had to offer.
It may be cold outside but that did not stop the CW50 Street Team from attending the 16th annual Shiver on the River. This Ecology Family Fair had activities, exhibits and displays all over Belle Isle.
