Lights Go Up On Detroit's Christmas Tree, Virtual Ceremony This Year

(CBS Detroit) - The official tree lighting ceremony in Detroit took place today but without spectators.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a virtual ceremony took place for everyone to watch safely.

And following the new pandemic order in Michigan Campus Martius ice rink will also be closed.

The ice rink will reopen on December 9, 2020.
