Report: Exxon-Mobil Plans More Emissions Due To Investment In New Fossil Fuels Over Next 5 Years

(CBS DETROIT) – Leaked documents reveal Exxon-Mobil plans to increase carbon dioxide emissions by 17 percent over the next five years.

Bloomberg reports the oil giant is planning a $210 billion investment to expand fossil fuel production.

In comparison, competitors like BP and Royal Dutch shell are pledging to reduce carbon emissions over the next few decades.
