National Eviction Crisis: Millions Struggling With Paying Rent

(CBS DETROIT) - Rent is due for millions of Americans and a flood of evictions filings are hitting courts now nationwide.

A ban on evictions in buildings with mortgages backed by the government ended last week.

According to Apartment List, 21 percent of renters didn't pay rent last month.

Landlords are seeking reparation for more than $21 billion in overdue rent.
