Pink Supports Jessica Simpson In Mom Solidarity Post

 (CNN) -- Pink has posted a message in response to some parent shamers.

In a recent Instagram post, the singer, 39, shared a photo of her eight-year-old daughter sporting a bright new look, alongside an image of Jessica Simpson dyeing the ends of her own daughter's hair.

Late Tuesday, Simpson, also 39, shared a series of photos on Instagram of her seven-year-old daughter donning colorful locks, complete with purples and pinks. She said the style was inspired by actress Dove Cameron's character in "The Descendants" franchise.

Though mostly well-received, the post was met with some fierce backlash by some commenters who were critical of Simpson's parenting choice.

"I heard people were bummed on Jessica Simpson for letting her seven year old get her hair colored," Pink wrote in her caption.

"So we thought we'd share what we did yesterday."

The singer-songwriter and mother included the hashtag '#ohlookmanocomments,' to show the public she really had no interest in hearing their thoughts on the issue.

Her other hashtags? '#bluehairdontcare' and '#getyourownkids,' just to name a few.
