(CNN) — A series of racist, anti-semitic and generally offensive screenshots which appeared to be from actress Jessica Alba’s verified Twitter account were making the rounds on social media this weekend.
The images, showing what are alleged to be tweets from the actress and The Honest Company founder’s official account, contain racist and homophobic statements, and even posts praising Hitler and the celebration of rape.
“Nazi Germany Did Nothing Wrong And That’s On God (racial epithet),” one tweet read.
The screenshots were being shared on Twitter on Sunday, but the posts have since been removed from Alba’sTwitter account.
It’s unclear who posted the now-deleted tweets.
CNN has reached out to Alba for comment and neither she nor her publicists have issued any statements.
Some of those sharing the screenshots on Twitter theorized that Alba’s account had been hacked. “Jessica Alba did not carry the entire Fantastic Four franchise on her back to get hacked in her sleep while she was just trying to sell us multi-vitamins,” one person wrote.
“At least hack somebody that is halfway believably racist! Jessica Alba aint hurtin nobody sellin clean baby products and makeup wipes!” another said.
Alba was one the stars in the Fantastic Four films, and is the founder of The Honest Company, which sells household items along with health and wellness products. As of early Monday the last tweet appearing on her official Twitter timeline dated back to July 20.
Alba has Mexican-American roots and her husband, producer Cash Warren, is biracial.
