The CW50 Street Team Stops By Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure
Hundreds laced up their sneaker to take one step closer to a finding a cure for breast cancer at the 28th annual Susan G. Komen Race “For The Cure in Detroit”.
The CW50 Street Team had the opportunity to chat with volunteers and participants to find out why this event means so much to them. We were also informed about the importance of raising money to end breast cancer. While learning how we can make a difference as well.
Although the weather was cold this year, everyone in attendance was just as excited to be despite the weather. This made the event even more special because no one was complaining about anything, they were all just enjoying each other and supporting their loved ones. The loving atmosphere at the Susan G. Komen Race “For The Cure in Detroit” was on that everyone needs to experience.
The CW50 Street Team looks forward to attending this event again, while also seeing new and familiar faces from the Race for The Cure event.
