This week on Street Beat, host Lisa Germani looks at four charities and finds out how you can help them help others this holiday season.

First Chairperson Jean Struckmeyer from Hope Lutheran Church talks about the upcoming Alternative Christmas Fair where you can shop for gifts and help local charities at the same time.

Terry Seraceno, Founder of Dr. Paws Inc. discusses her organization and explains how the fair helps them.  Then the Empowerment Plan Programs Manager, Matuaka Brown, and seamstress Angel Tyler explain this organization that helps employee Detroit residents and aid the homeless through its products.
