Detroit Proud Playlist: Week of 9/5 - "Dally in the Alley" Edition!

You know fall is in the air when it's time for the 39th Annual Dally in the Alley street festival. Going strong for decades, Dally in the Alley is a staple event for Detroiters and (as always) you can't miss it.

For those of you not familiar with Dally, it's a once a year music festival extravaganza with food, local merch vendors shelling out art, jewelry, and clothing, and tons of dallyers parading around Cass Corridor. There's a little something for everyone at this annual festival and if you're not familiar with Detroit's vibrant and awe-inspiring music scene, well...it's time to get familiar.

There will be 5 stages set up this year, each hosting a must-see lineup of local artists. The event starts at 11am on Saturday, September 11th, with the last artist of the night going on at 10PM. Also, did we mention it's FREE?! It's a wondrous celebration of life in Detroit and the Cass Corridor and you get to walk right into the action.
