Oliver Ragsdale, Jr. is the founder and CEO of the Carr Center, a creative hub located in downtown Detroit for Metro-Detroit residents and visitors interested in the arts. Within the organization is the Carr Center Arts Academy, a rigorous training program for high school students and life-long opportunities for adults. The academy enables students to grow in their talents. The Carr Center has impacted the city of Detroit by developing the area into a popular attraction for people to explore. It has provided the city with fun activities for residents to enjoy, while being enlightened at the same time.
