Gina Rodriguez Gave Her Awards Show Dress To A Fan For Prom

It's a magical story where wishes come true. Jessica Casanova of Buffalo NY Tweeted her desire to wear Gina Rodriguez's dress from a 2016 awards show and by pure coincidence, the "Jane The Virgin" star noticed and started the wheels in motion.

Although she didn't own the 2016 dress, Rodriguez offered Casanova the black Badgley Mischka look she wore when she won the 2015 Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV Comedy.

After many Tweets back and forth the dress arrived to Casanova's home.
