It’s marble madness, and oh so satisfying.
A video posted Tuesday promoting the 2016 tour for Swedish band Wintergatan has gone viral … and for good reason.
Who knows how many hours would be involved with hand crafting an elaborate wooden wind-up contraption to beautifully play xylophone, bass guitar and percussion. Honestly, I’m probably not appreciating everything going on in this video, but it’s dang impressive.
Built by Martin Molin, using 2000 marbles, the machine plays a tune also composed by Molin.
Props to the video production by Hannes Knutsson and costume design by Angelique Nagtegaal.
