Detroit Proud Playlist - Week of 12/28: "New Year's Eve!" Edition

We hope everyone enjoyed the holidays with their friends and family this past weekend, but don't relax just yet! We're revving up for the next big bash—New Year's Eve! Some of you may be interested in recouping from all your social gatherings with a quiet night in, while others are looking to ring in the New Year on a more lively note. For those in the latter category, we're bringing you a list of parties that quench your thirst for local music, but offer up a great place to smooch that stranger when the ball drops.

Let's welcome 2016 — Detroit Proud style!

Black Tie New Year's Eve Gala - The Loving Touch, Ferndale

This formal event doesn't require a dress code, but we recommend busting out your best suit or dress for this swanky evening,  hosted by The Loving Touch in downtown Ferndale starting at 8pm. The night will be punctuated with live local music from some awesome bands and a champagne toast at midnight! A cover of $5 will get you in so you can dance the night away.
