Fashion Preview: 'Best of Detroit' Party

Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. It's in the sky, in the street, has to do with ideas, the way we live, and even what's happening. What inspires fashion in Detroit?
Find out this Friday, June 19th, at the "Best of Detroit" Party at MotorCity Casino hotel. Hour Detroit will bring their June issue to life with a captivating evening featuring food from more than 30 of the city's legendary restaurants, delicious cocktails, and performances by Ben Sharkey, DJ Prevu, Jared Sykes, and Dj Captn20. This event will benefit the GIVE Detroit Challenge.
With an event that sounds like as much fun as this one does, this is just one party you wouldn't want to miss!
I know you're probably thinking, "Well, what type of fashions do I wear?" Think…Cocktail Affair!
The outfit that you choose to wear should accentuate you! With summer just around the corner, you're able to not only look fabulous, but feel it as well.
Floor-length maxi dresses, dressy cocktail dresses, and a tux-style pantsuit are great examples of what's appropriate wear for this event. Be sure to go a little further and choose a garment with a bold color. The color should not only flatter you, but also be accentuated by the accessories that you pair with it!
Remember, the fashionable man or woman wears the clothes...the clothes don't wear him or her.
Door will open at 7 p.m. and General Admission tickets are $95 and VIP tickets are $140. The VIP package allows guests to enter into the event at 6 p.m. for first tastes and sips of the treats on display from this year's "Best of Detroit" winners. Click HERE for tickets!
