Read All About It! CW50 Street Team visits 2015 Bookstock

"Their once was an old lady who lived in a shoe…" that line probably sparks a childhood memory or two? Which next leads to the question to read or not to read and the 2015 Bookstock made it a no brainer by providing one of the largest booksales of the season at Laurel Park Place Mall in Livonia this past weekend.

Thousands of books were donated to this weekend-long book extravaganza with all of the proceeds going to local literacy programs and scholarships for the tri-county area explained Andi Wolfe, Volunteer Finance Team Member. She also says that this is such an awesome event that we get more and more volunteers wanting to help out each year.

"I just love books… I like reading about someplace I could never go" says Tyler Frazier, young book enthusiast.

Books were not the only items that one could stumble upon at this event. There were also an abundance of VHS, records and CDs for people to thumb through. Bookstock may be over for this season but it has left the participants filled to the brim with more than enough words to peruse over until next years 2016 Bookstock.
