On Saturday, April 25th, host Rob Stone learns about the problem of human trafficking from Jane White, Director and Founder of the Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force, and Lori Blaker, Metro Detroit Chapter of the US National Committee for UN Women, whose organization is sponsoring an upcoming event on the topic.
Then Blaker returns with Edee Franklin, the founder of Sanctum House, a safe house designed to meet the needs of adult Human Trafficking Survivors.
Next, Stone finds out about citizen diplomacy from Marian Reich, the executive director for the International Visitors Council of Detroit.
Finally, Neal Rubin, honorary co-chair of Bookstock, stops by to discuss the week-long used book sale that benefits literacy programs throughout the metro Detroit area.
