Andrew Ballard of Waterford was out fishing with his father and captured video and photo of the scary weather.

The video's description reads that this phenomenon was captured on May, 21 2014 in Platte Bay, Lake Michigan off the shores of Frankfort, Mich.

The fishermen are swallowed by the cold fog and soon leave.

The YouTube video has nearly 1 million views after just less than a week online.
