Polar vortex temperatures are still in effect but the brightness and blooming of spring is on the horizon. With spring only being weeks away, it is a perfect time to embrace new spring scents to dress up the season and leave behind the layers of winter.

This month there are several new fragrances from major designers that are worth trying out and buying. It's no surprise that floral scents are trending in a major way this season with designers that include Dolce&Gabbana and Tory Burch. Considering everything that is out now, picking a new perfume will be fun and a matter of taste.

Check out these five new fragrances that are fresh on the shelves in time for spring and are sure leave an impression.

Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet

Blooming Bouquet is a light burst of sweet floral notes that stays with a woman all day long. Blooming Bouquet is composed of Sicilian Orange, Pink Peony, Damasus Rose, and White Musk. It has a soft, powder-like smell that lingers against the skin. The signature glass ribbon bottle is as chic and as inviting the bouquet of floral scent notes within the fragrance.  Essentially, Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is a sophisticated scent that's very befitting for spring.

Miss Dior's Blooming Bouquet is currently available exclusively at Macy's for $75 in 1.7 oz or 3.4 oz for $98.

Salvatore Ferragamo's Signorina Eleganza

The newly released, Signorina Eleganza is a rich and classic perfume that is a must-

have to any woman's collection.  Eleganza is composed of fruit notes that include Grapefruit and Pear with floral notes of Golden Osmanthus and Patchouli. The perfume also mixes in almond powder and white leather to create a very alluring and glamorous fragrance. Simply put, Eleganza is the personification of grace and femininity in a bottle.

Salvatore Ferragamo's Eleganza is available at Nordstrom's for $109 in 3.4oz  and in 1.7oz for $87.

Roses de Chloé

Roses is a delicate, floral fragrance that is perfect for the spring and even the summer season. Roses contains notes that include Bergamot, Tea, Osmanthus, Damascena Rose Magnolia, White Musk and Amber. The notes combine to create a very airy, floral scent that is fresh and light enough to wear everyday. Roses echoes the same lightness as the original signature fragrance, Chloé while capturing the essence of a beautiful rose.

Roses de Chloé is available at Neiman Marcus in 1.69 oz for $95 and 2.54 oz for $120.00.

Michael Kors Sporty Citrus

Michael Kors Sporty Citrus is a casual fragrance that has a clean, light smell. It is an ideal scent to wear after the heaviness of winter. Sporty Citrus offers a great alternative to a floral scent for spring but still keeps it fresh and bright. The perfumes mixes notes of  Mandarin Orange, Pink Pepper, Orange Flower, Patchouli ,and Jasmine.

Michael Kors Sporty Citrus is available at Macy's in 1.7 oz for $75 and in 3.4 oz for $95.
