What To Wear On Any Kind Of Valentine's Day Outing

No matter if you are spending Valentine's day with a special someone or going out with a group of friends, there are several fashionable ways to get dolled up for the occasion.

The plans can set the tone and ultimately determine the best attire for the evening.  Here are a few stylish ideas that are guaranteed to stun this Valentine's Day for whatever is on the agenda.

Romantic Restaurant Dinner for Two

Dress to impress by choosing a sexy, classy ensemble for a romantic dinner for two at a fancy restaurant. Although red and pink are traditional V-day colors, don't be afraid to think outside the box.  Go for something different but classic for the special evening.

For instance, try a black lace dress or a simple little black dress that hugs the body for dinner. Complete the look with a bold red lip, a leopard shoe, statement heart jewelry and perhaps a clutch with roses or lace embroidery. Remember the goal is to be elegant and a knock out so choose a dress that stuns without doing too much.

Single Ladies' Night Out

Single Ladies can look gorgeous and stylish for Valentine's Day too.  To achieve a flirty and fashionable look, mix and match separates. Separates offer the versatility and style for a fun night out with friends.  Find a bright pink or red peplum blouse to pair with a black pencil skirt. Pull the look together with black or colored pumps, chunky statement jewelry, patterned tights (hearts or lace for example) and a heart clutch.

An alternative option is to slip into a body con style dress. Body con dresses form-fitting to compliment the natural curves of the body. A body con dress is flirty and a great way to capture someone's attention while out with the ladies.

Keep It Casual

Whether the plan is to chat it up over drinks with friends or catch a romantic movie with a loved one, causal attire can also come in very handy for Valentine's Day.  For a causal evening with friends, choose a simple sweater and pair it with a pair of leggings and sassy leather boots. Add light jewelry such as a locket or heart pendant and charm bracelet to complete the look. The accessories can make the Valentine's Day theme for the outfit while the clothing offers the comfort element for a laid back evening.

For a causal date, opt for a sweater dress, tights or leggings, a girly bootie shoe, heart jewelry, and statement handbag. A romantic, dramatic blouse and a pair of pants or skirt would also be a stylish option for a special yet carefree V-day date.
