Back for its third year, the Metro Times Pig & Whiskey festival is kicking off their weekend of fun, food, drinks, games, and local music, tonight in downtown Ferndale. Once again, Metro Times is partnering with Woodward Avenue Brewers to close off East Troy Street for this 2.5 day-long festival.
There will be food from some of the best Metro Detroit restaurants, including Slows BBQ, Redsmoke Barbeque, Corridor Sausage Co., Detroit BBQ Company, Rub BBQ Pub, and more. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Pig & Whiskey festival without the whiskey – so if you’re on the 21 and up list – get ready to drink the delectable tastes from of a long list of whiskeys, or perhaps one of the specially-made whiskey cocktails.READ MORE: The Detroit Zoo To Host Its Final Weekend Of Family-Friendly Halloween Event 'Zoo Boo' Oct. 22-24
