Hollywood Movies - Michigan Made

Michigan might not have the infamous Hollywood sign, but we have had some impressive Hollywood movies filmed here...and with good reason, too. Firstly, there is Detroit, with a gritty, industrial vibe,  Gothic-looking churches, a crystal-clear view of Canada over the river, The Detroit People Mover, and a unique skyline backdrop. Michigan also boasts the history-rich college town of Ann Arbor, white sandy beaches of Lake Michigan along the west side of the state, and a little island right at the tip of the mitten that we like to call Mackinac. With that remarkable list of locations, it's no wonder why more and more movies are being filmed here.

Check out the list below for some of the most recent titles in movies filmed here in Michigan! Some of the titles may surprise you! When you're watching, see if you can pick out local places you see in the films!
