STATE CHAMPS! Football Playoffs: Clarkston Over Grand Blanc
It's week two of the high school football playoffs and the place you want to be to watch the best comprehensive coverage is State Champs! the 3-time Emmy award winning high school sports show on the CW50 Detroit each and every Sunday at 11:30am hosted by Lorne Plant.
State Champs! will be hosting this week's show from Livonia Churchill High School where our main event will be the Division 1 Football District Final between Livonia Churchill vs. Plymouth. These teams played in week 3 of the regular season, and it was Churchill that came out the victors 35-31. State Champs! will also have cameras at these football district finals this weekend.

State Champs! also covers highlights of the Division 1 Boys Soccer Semifinal between Grand Blanc vs. Utica Ford. Grand Blanc trying to make the boys soccer state finals for the first time since 1987 and Utica Ford looking to make its first appearance in the finale in school history.
It was the start of the volleyball districts this week and State Champs! was out for two district semifinal matchups. 3rd ranked in Class A - Macomb Dakota took on Port Huron Northern and it was the battle of Grosse Pointe as North took on South. You get to see if Grosse Pointe North extends its 16 year winning streak against South in the districts.
