Street Beat: Stroke Awareness

This week on Street Beat, we're raising our voices to prevent stroke -- and those voices include survivors, health professionals and a famous local choir.

Syma Chowdhry's guests include stroke survivors Damont Goolsby and Bobbie Scott who share their stories; Dr. David Gaston, a neurologist with the Detroit Medical Center who explains what we can do to protect ourselves against stroke; Kristian Hurley, The Health Equity Director for the American Heart Association; and Selected of God, one of the featured performers at the upcoming Most Powerful Voices Health Fair and Gospel Concert.
