Art Van Furniture launched its spring catalog in style at a trend event at their Shelby Township location. The Spring Trends Showcase party was hosted with StyleLine magazine, so of course it was fabulous!
It made sense for StyleLine to host with Art Van; StyleLine always shows Metro Detroit the latest in fashion and Art Van is a trendsetter in furniture!
The April issue of StyleLine was no exception, revealing their trend report: Sorbet Seperates, Baroque and Roll, Peplum Power, Out of Africa, Sporty Spice, The Roaring ’20s, Sheer Genius, Tangerine Tango and Metallic Dressing, and Futuristic Flair. The event featured fashions from local designers modeled by beautiful local models. Each designer showed an original look that was on trend for the season with a backdrop of exquisite furniture.
I strolled around the event sampling food and desserts from local vendors, sipping KORBEL champagne, watching the entertainers on the stage, exploring the styles and textures of the Art Van showroom, and checking out the trends as they were interpreted and displayed by each designer.
Paulina Braiz Harb of Paulina BH showed pastels, Diana and Julie Verdugo of Gemela design showed metallic, Lyudviga Shneyder of Lyuduiga Couture showed white, Luke Song of Mr. Song Millinery showed the Roaring ’20s, Fotoula Lambros of Fotoula Lambros Design showed peplum, and Emily Thornhill of Homeslice showed brights. I loved all of the looks I saw and I would encourage you to check them out yourselves.
You can find all the designer info in the April issue of StyleLine. I can’t wait to wear Spring’s latest trends and shop the Art Van Spring Catalog!
