Brighton Fire Station 31 Dedicates 9/11 Memorial


A memorial including steel from the World Trade Center will be dedicated on the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks. As seen on First Forecast Mornings on WWJ-TV and CW50.

On the 10th Anniversary of September 11 the Brighton Area Fire Authority invites to public to join them in the dedication of their 9/11 memorial outside the Brighton Fire Station 31.

The memorial includes a piece of steel from the World Trade Center and serves as a permanent memorial to the victims of the September 11 World Trade Center terrorist attack.

Grand River Avenue will be closed from Main Street to Cross Street. A shuttle service will be available from the nearby Meijer parking lot.

The ceremony will be on Sunday, September 11 at 9 a.m. at the Brighton Fire Station 31 located at 615 W. Grand River Ave. in Brighton, MI.
