Hey, Metro Detroiters! Heading down to Comerica Park for Detroit Tigers Opening Weekend? CW50 has the inside scoop on how you can get discount deals on tickets, plus details about opening homestand activities! 

For this year's opening homestand, our Detroit Tigers play host to their American League Central Division rival, the Kansas City Royals, this Friday - Sunday, April 8th - 10th.

Lower Baseline seats are $14 while Upper Box seats are just $12, an offer available exclusively at tigers.com. In addition, all Mezzanine seats for select April & May games (regularly priced $15) are only $10. Pretty cool, right?

Opening homestand highlights include a rally towel giveaway (first 10,000), on Opening Day, Friday, April 8 at 3:05 p.m., a Miguel Cabrera Magnet Schedule giveaway (first 10,000), presented by Comerica Bank, on Saturday, April 9 at 4:10 p.m., and Kids Opening Day, presented by Ball Park Hot Dogs, on Sunday, April 10 at 1:05 p.m.

As if that wasn't cool enough, as part of Kids Opening Day, 30 young Tigers fans can enter to win the opportunity to participate in exciting gameday jobs throughout the ballpark - from joining the grounds crew on the field to selling hot dogs in the stands. All kids 14-and-younger on April 10 will receive a Kids Opening Day Magnet Schedule, can enjoy free rides on the Comerica Bank Carousel or the Fly Ball Ferris Wheel, can take part in free face painting, have a chance to win a bicycle, and are invited to the field for Kids Run the Bases, presented by Pepsi, following the game.
