Fashion Rocks at Flat 151

Fashion, art, and talent came together at Flat 151 in Detroit for one one fabulous event...Fashion Rocks!  Henry Spencer of Golden Hanger Designs teamed up with some other local designers to put on one hot show at one swanky spot! 

I'll give you the scoop on my faves:
 
I.M.U showed a line of ready-to-wear apparel inspired by the simple phrase, "I miss you."  Those three simple words set the tone for the designer's concept and business model....making the customer feel special.

 Wooden Hangers of Royal Oak showed off some menswear looks that their store offers.  I can tell you that the men walking down that runway in Wooden Hangers merchandise looked good....I loved their layered looks!  Now I can't wait to check out the store and see what they have for women!

 Henry Spencer (Golden Hanger Designs) showed some of the sexiest pieces I have ever seen!  Every dress he sent down the runway looked like something Beyonce would wear.....fierce and fabulous!  I love how all of Henry's dresses show lots of leg. I also really appreciate that he does a lot with mesh fabrics.  My favorite design was a long-sleeve leopard print mesh mini.  So hot!  I can't wait to get one for myself! 

 The fashion was not the only thing that rocked the night; the event also highlighted some up-and-coming young musical artists.  I was genuinely impressed by the talent levels of the beautiful ladies that performed!  There are definitely arts to be celebrated right here in metro Detroit!
