Touch of Bethany...My Reaction to Becoming a Detroit's Gossip Girl

I sat down on Monday to watch the newest episode of Gossip Girl, Touch of Eva. My roommates and I were armed with Diet Coke and popcorn, ready to indulge in the lives of our favorite New York socialites. However, as the show began, I found it impossible to pay attention.

I had knots in my stomach, and my legs were shaking. Sure, the show was intense as usual, but not the cause of my nerves. It was tonight, during this episode, that I would find out who would become Detroit's newest Gossip Girls!

Glued to my seat I stayed, nerves building with every commercial. Finally, past the show's half-way point, I saw Lauren's familiar face on the screen. My roommates and I exchanged nervous glances as the results were delivered. Now keep in mind that this has been a dream of mine for quite some time. I love fashion, fame, and fun…..everything that is a DGG! That being said, this announcement was a BIG deal for me! Plus, the competition was tough! All 15 finalists were beautiful and talented, so I knew it could be anyone……

After what felt like an eternity, I was pleasantly surprised to see my face on the screen! I am Detroit's newest Gossip Girl!!!!! My roommates and I shrieked in excitement and popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate! We each poured a glass and toasted to life in the fab lane! I cannot wait to start this exciting journey with Danielle and Lauren and add a touch of Bethany to this great city! Metro Detroit, I'll keep it fabulous and keep you in the loop.
