The Macomb Center for the Performing Arts held its first show in 1982 and launched its Page to Stage series in 2009. In April, it plays host to Red Green, Canada's "foremost handyman," who is fresh off his "Wit and Wisdom Tour," which was performed in 139 shows in Canada and the United States. His new show, "How to Do Everything," expands on this material, showing how he has established himself as a comedian. Tickets for Red Green can be bought online and are priced at $47.50.

Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle hosts The Amazing Johnathan this February, an "eccentric comic magician" who has an impressive resume. Johnathan has appeared on numerous TV shows, including his own; has been a Las Vegas headliner, ending his tenure there at Bally's; and has won The World Magic Award three times. He's also received the "Best of Las Vegas" and "Best Top 10 Show Award" from The Las Vegas Review-Journal. Johnathan will reside at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle for three nights only, so catch this show while he's in town. Parking can be found on the street or in structures nearby.

The Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase is located in downtown Ann Arbor, below Seva on East Liberty, and plays host to numerous comedians each month. This February, Ben Creed will be performing, a resident of New York City and Arizona. Ben has been featured on HBO, "Showtime Comedy Club Network," "Comic Strip Live," "Comedy on the Road" and more shows, and last year was in Showtime's "Billy Gardell Presents Road Dogs." Tickets range from $8 to $13 and can be bought online.

Made famous on truTV, the Impractical Jokers will be live at the Royal Oak Music Theater this February. Improv, "never-before-seen videos" and more will occur, performed by Q, Sal, Joe and Murr. The theater will feature two shows, one at 7 p.m. and one at 10 p.m., and ticket prices range from $37.50 to $87.50; all comedy-goers must be over 18 years old. Parking is available on the street and in structures in downtown Royal Oak.

If you're looking to enjoy some great food with your comedy, look no further than Andiamo. Andiamo plays host to many shows and comedians at its showroom at its Warren location, and two comediennes are visiting this March (Lisa Lampanelli) and April. Wanda Sykes has been called one of the "funniest stand-up comics in America," and she's acted in movies as well. You can also spot her on "Wanda Does It" (Comedy Central), "Wanda at Large" (FOX) and HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Tickets can be purchased for $25, $65 or $75, and this show is for "mature audiences" only.
