This is a nice change of pace for those who still want the VIP treatment of bottle service, but can do without the nightclub atmosphere. Half wine shop and half wine bar, Motor City Wine in downtown Detroit is known for blending wine, music and art. The bar sports a tasting room, which is modeled to resemble a comfortable living room and often features live jazz acts. The venue also hosts monthly wine tastings with everything offered available to be purchased at the time of the tasting. Friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff keep patrons coming back and the bar's affordable prices make it one of the area's best places to go for bottle service. Patrons can have any bottle opened for a small corking fee of $5 with glasses going for as low as $6 and bottles available for as low as $21. Keep an eye out for the bar's punch card for regular patrons: for every 10 bottles you purchase to take home gets you something to take home, like a tote, a glass or a mini tasting.
