THE NEXT: FAME IS AT YOUR DOORSTEP will go on a nationwide search for undiscovered artists on the verge of stardom. In this new take on the music competition genre, superstar mentors, including pop legend Gloria Estefan, musician and actor Joe Jonas, country star John Rich and hip-hop superstar Nelly, will travel to where the talent is, immersing themselves in the lives and towns of these local performers and preparing them for the chance to represent their home city on stage, live, in front of America.

THE NEXT moves from city to city, each one an iconic, sonic hot spot —Orlando, Baltimore, Dallas, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. Each episode, our four recurring Superstar Icons, Gloria Estefan, John Rich, Nelly, and Joe Jonas will drop in on the lives of four different Contestants — local musical heroes with not just a buzz on the scene, but rather a huge regional following of devoted fans.
