Nominate a Local Black History Maker!

This year, CW50 is asking our viewers to nominate local Black History Makers! Tell us…who do you know personally that is making Black History in Detroit…or, who do you know that has already made a contribution?

It’s easy – just fill out the form below, and tell us the story of a local Black History Maker.

At the end of the contest, we’ll select two winning Black History Makers to share their stories with us. These two will appear in custom vignettes on CW50 that will air throughout Black History Month.

You must be 18 or older to submit a story. If you are submitting a story about someone else, you must be able to provide contact information, if your story is selected as a winner. The subject of your story must also be willing to sign a video release form agreeing to appear in on-air promotion with CW50.
