ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

WKBD-TV CW50 Detroit is seeking a Broadcast Sales Account Executive.

The primary function of this position includes a strong emphasis on developing new business for CW50 Detroit and CBS Local Media internet sites.  Additional responsibility includes handling some agency accounts.  Candidate will also have the opportunity to sell sister-station, CBS62 Detroit.  Strong presentation and negotiation skills are a must.  We are looking for someone who can sell this station’s commercial inventory to direct clients, such as retailers, manufacturers, and distributors.  Ideal candidate will be detail oriented, creative, energetic, and possess positive enthusiasm with the will to win in a challenging marketplace.  Degree preferred. One to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Market experience preferred.
