'Riverdale' Trailer Reveals A Murder Mystery Storyline And Ripped Archie

The CW has taken the Archie comics' source material in a dark direction as seen in the first promo video released from the network.

Clearly something bad has happened on the water. Police boats and bloody hands hint at what's in store for the premiere of "Riverdale" coming to The CW this winter.

Was someone killed and dumped in the lake?

With a strong lead-in show, "Riverdale" follows "Supernatural" which is at a new time period Thursday nights starting at 8 p.m.
