What’s the best way to enjoy a sunny autumn day? Go to a festival, and that’s exactly what the CW50 Street Team did when they went to the MSU Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest.
Families enjoyed activities like face painting, a straw maze, pumpkin bowling, bounce houses, a petting zoo, educational exhibits and much more.
“We got to ride hayrides, pick out pumpkins and just really experiencing Michigan fall.” Jillian Gismondi
Pumpkinfest also gives families the opportunity to learn more about what the farm has to offer. Along with hosting events MSU Tollgate provides hand-on learning opportunities to adults and children about agriculture.
“Pumpkinfest is one of our biggest fundraisers for this year. We’re raising money for our educational activities that place here at the farm. Our focus is to educate people on agriculture, where their food is coming from.” Nicole Bianzy
The CW50 Street Team can’t wait until next year to see what new experiences MSU Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest will bring to the community.
