Vixen, Detroit Superhero Makes Her Live-Action Debut On ‘Arrow’

Vixen has been kicking butt on the 6-part animated series set in Detroit, but now she’s about to make a live-action appearance on The CW’s hit show “Arrow” alongside Oliver Queen.

Megalyn Echikunwoke did the voice work for Vixen and her alter ego Mari Jiwe McCabe in the CW Seed animated web series and she’s also been tapped to provide her likeness for the character in front of T.V. cameras.

“Arrow” Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim shared concept art of Vixen’s look and the character’s totem pendant. The pendant is the source of her powers where she can channel the abilities of any animal who lived on Earth.

Catch up on Vixen’s story by watching the recent web series on CW Seed before her debut on Wednesday.
