Snoop Dogg Meets With Flint Mayor, Plans 'Long-Term Action' In Water Crisis

Before a show at Detroit's Masonic Temple, rapper Snoop Dogg made several stops around the state and documented much of it on his Instagram account.

Wearing a Flint Lives Matter shirt he said, "On my way to Detroit, had to stop by Flint, Michigan. Do some positive work,"

In a meeting with Flint Mayor Karen Weaver Snoop got up to speed on the contaminated water crisis and the two made plans for "immediate and long-term action," Weaver told Mlive, but they couldn't reveal details.

Snoop also visited a Detroit location of Captain Jay's Fish and Chicken restaurant to the delight of the staff behind the counter.
