Top 10 Fashion Moments As 'America's Next Top Model' Takes Its Final Runway

Fierce, fashion, fearless, and beauty. Those were a few of the words that come to mind when thinking of America's Next Top Model (ANTM). Since 2003, America's Next Top Model has brought the world of modeling into the homes of many fans. After over two decades and 22 cycles, Tyra Banks' ANTM is coming to an end, December 4th.

The show launched the modeling and professional careers of many models that include Detroit native and Cycle 4 winner, Naima Mora. During its run, ANTM has wowed and shocked viewers with lavish runway shows, conceptual photo shoots, glamorous fashion and unforgettable contestants.

There are so many moments that have solidified it as a fan favorite.

Here are the 10 top fashion moments from ANTM:

1) Contestants' Makeovers

One of the most anticipated moments of every season of ANTM makeover episode. The best part of the beauty transformations were the contestants' reactions. Some would cringe or be in tears while others embraced their new looks. No matter what, it was always interesting to see how an edgy color and cut could change model-hopeful into a fierce supermodel.

2) The Runway Shows

Tyra Banks continued to push beyond the typical when choosing the finale runway shows for each cycle. It has been under water and it has been extremely long and curvy. It became as unexpected as the photo shoots and showcased the high-fashion world.

3) The Go-Sees

The Go-Sees are everything in a model's career and viewers had the opportunity to learn first-hand how intense they could be. Would the models make it to every go-see? Would the model get booked? It was always a nail-biting episode that separated the pack of models.

4) Cycle 17, Episode 3: The models pose on stilts in Paris

Cycle 17 saw the return of models ANTM's from previous cycles. To test their fierceness and all-star level, models posed on stilts. Add the city of Paris as a backdrop and it makes for one of the most over-the-top (no pun intended) photo shoots in ANTM history.

5) Cycle 3, Episode 8: Verragio diamonds shoot with a tarantula

ANTM has proven that modeling is more than taking a perfect picture and a beautiful smile. In Cycle, 3, viewers learn for the first time that modeling is not all about glamour. Contestants had the task of modeling beautiful Verragio diamonds while share the spotlight with a live tarantula! Needless to say, some were rightfully freaked out. Eva Marcille would ultimately put her fear aside to take a gorgeous pic and win ANTM.

6) Cycle 2, Episode 8: Solstice sunglasses in Verona Arena

ANTM has taken its contestants and viewers to some of the most beautiful destinations across the globe. The scenic places provide for compelling storytelling in each the photo shoot. In Cycle 2, the ladies traveled to Italy to shoot an ad for Solstice sunglasses in the iconic Verona Arena.

7) Cyle 6, Episode 11: Posing on elephants for Venus razors

By Cycle 6, ANTM had proved it could test the limits of any aspiring model. The contestants really had to bring their "A" game when they modeled in elegant gowns on top of elephants in a Thailand jungle. Contestant, Danielle Evans overcame the extra struggle of overcoming a sickness to capture a flawless picture and became the winner of Cycle 6.

8) Cycle 7, Episode 11: Spanish bullfighters

ANTM had been known to take its shoots to the extreme and most exotic but this photo shoot certainly took it to another level. The models posed in Spain with a bulls as their co-star. The result was a gorgeous and luxurious looking photo shoot.

9) Cycle 15, Episode 7: Portraying iconic fashion designers

There were no death-defying factors in episode 7 of Cycle 15. Instead, it shined a spotlight on the heart of fashion: the designers. Behind every amazing garment is the designer. In Cycle 15, the contestants paid tribute to some of the most iconic designers of the fashion world that included Betsey Johnson, Carolina Herrera, and Vera Wang.

10) Cycle 22, Final Runway

Cycle 22's final runway will truly be a major moment because it is the sum of 22 seasons of the show. With 4 talented contestants, it's anyone's guess who will ultimately be the final winner of ANTM.

Will it be Nyle DiMarco, Mamé Adjei, Lacey Rogers, or Mikey Heverly to be crowned America's Next Top Model? Or will be a twist? Could both a guy and girl walk away with modeling contracts? Tune into CW50 December 4, 9/8c to see how it all ends in the finale of ANTM.
