Former Detroit TV Anchor Now Pastor Frank Turner Preaches Acceptance, Addresses Anti-Semitic Rumors

Promoting his latest book "Raised From The Dead", Detroit TV anchor turned pastor Frank Turner shared the story of life as a recovering drug addict and how his his talents are now focused on ministering to his congregation.

CW50 Community Affairs intern Edmon Armstrong got a chance to talk with Turner who is the current pastor of The Believers Congregation in Novi. They address his past scandals and more recent allegations of anti-Semitic comments made by Turner, which he says are completely false. "It's nothing I've ever felt -- nothing I would ever say. It's just a complete fabrication."

Turner explains a recent op-ed piece for Pride Magazine where he lends support for gay marriage, "I thought it was very important for people of faith to begin to express publicly our acceptance and our affirmation of marriage equality for all people."

Turner welcomes all people to The Believers Congregation regardless of race, sexual preference or gender identity. The key as he sees it is for all Christians to be, "accepting, loving, healing ... and put people above positions".
