Street Beat: Father’s Day, Mentoring

On Saturday, June 20 Paul Prange hosts a special Father’s Day edition of Street Beat and learns about fatherhood initiatives, mentoring programs and men’s health.

First Bryant George and Kevin Finch explain how the Bridging Lost Gaps program at Madonna University helps students overcome disadvantages.

Then, Waymond Hayes from Focus Hope’s Fatherhood Initiative Program and author Bill Middlebrooks discuss what men can do to become better fathers.

Next, Dr. Michael Lutz from MIU Men’s Health Foundation talks about the upcoming Run for the Ribbon 5K race that raises awareness about prostate cancer.

Finally, Rodgers Washington and George Winn explain the Children’s Center Fatherhood Initiative.
