99 beer bottle caps on the wall. Take one down er… I mean put one up… all the way to 127 on the state of Michigan to be exact.
The idea is simple. Drink beer, put the cap in the map. To be specific, an attractive map-shaped piece of plywood with holes designed to hold bottle caps.
Fans of the mitten state can get the upper or lower peninsula separately for $39 or both for $49. The lower peninsula has 97 spots and the U.P. has 27.
The company headed by a couple of guys (Steve and Jesse) are selling the various maps through their website and setting up partnerships to sell in some beer novelty retail shops.
They have all 50 states and 5 countries including the United States, Canada, British Isles, Germany and New Zealand.
Visit their website to shop for your own map and get to work drinking beer so you can fill it up. Just don’t fill it all at once. You’ll thank me later.
I love beer, but to shake things up so to speak (pun intended), why not put your favorite sodas in the map? Any pop connoisseurs out there? I’m pretty fond of some Jones, Faygo and Orange Crush.
