Largest snowball (32.94 feet in circumference) This is what happens when you isolate mechanical engineers in a remote Upper Peninsula college. Specifically they were at ASME Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan.

Largest swing dance (756 participants) It's a wonder nobody gets hurt at these things.

Tallest man ever (8 foot 11 inches / shared with Illinois) He died in Manistee, Mich. How that gives us any claim to his record is a mystery.
