For The Love Of Music

They're a movement by themselves, but a force when they're together. Ryan, Jasmin, and Chelsea are Love Dollhouse, the newest vocal group from Detroit. This trio of talented young ladies recently charmed their way to top after signing to Steve Rifikind and Russell Simmons' All Def Music Label and Capitol Records.

"It's pretty amazing, because growing up, I always thought that I could go big one day and sing professionally, I always believed it!," says Ryan.

Recently they released what may be the hit single of the summer: "Can I" which was written by Claude Kelly and Ashley Rose and produced by Jon Traxx. "Can I" is a blend of Pop and R&B that changes the male/female tradition by putting the girl in the power seat. This song introduces their resilient harmonies, graceful hooks, expressive grooves, and passion behind the music.

"The girl has got her eye on a guy, and she's flirting, telling him to come on over to her side. She's saying, "I like you, I'm pursing you, which we feel has a bigger message. We're telling girls that it's okay to take initiative. It's okay to be free and express your love, and still be classy," says Chelsea.

Long-time friends Ryan and Jasmin started the group in middle school with the guidance of their manager, Dawn. Along the way the duo met the girl who would fulfill their musical destiny, Chelsea, who completed their triangle of talent.

"Once Chelsea joined, we knew it was right," says Jasmine.

The expression of individuality is important for this trio. With their idea of being three totally different people able to make it work together, success was only an arm's reach away. Since signing, the girls have been in the studio creating more hits that they plan to release throughout 2014.

"Leading up to this moment, we've all been through a lot. We've had setbacks, on our own and as a group, and it's going to be so liberating and rewarding to see all the hard work pay off," says Ryan and Jasmin.

Good things come to people who wait, but better things come to those who go out and get them.
