Calling all actors! Or just people who really want to be part of a big summer blockbuster starring Batman and Superman.  Warner Brothers is holding an open casting call this Sunday (April 27th) at the Somerset Inn in Troy from 11am to 3pm.

Now, Warner Brothers hasn’t officially said this is a casting call for the upcoming Batman/Superman movie filming in Detroit this summer, but it doesn’t take someone with x-ray vision to read between the lines to figure out that’s exactly what it’s for.

The studio is looking for men and women over the age of 18 who fit the profile for clean cut military and law enforcement types and business executives in suits.

There are a few rules to follow for the casting call:

  • Be in line no later than 3pm. Those who arrive after 3pm will not be admitted. Lining early before 11am will not help your chances of being selected. Please do not call the hotel either.
  • You MUST be available to work in Detroit area locations, week days, either inside or outside, anytime between June through November of this year.
  • Do not bring children. No kids – no exceptions. If you’d like to submit for your child (ages 9-15), please bring a small current school-type picture.
  • Photos will be taken at no charge, but please bring a pen to fill out the application
  • NO COSTUMES PLEASE! Do us all a favor and leave your Batman or Wonder Woman outfit in the closet for next Halloween.

For more information on the casting call you can visit the Michigan Film Office’s website HERE.
