Spring is a fresh start to many new things. For high school seniors, it's a halfway point to their future after high school and the beginning of prom season. Prom season is an exciting event in any young person's life and a night surely to be remembered.

Shopping for that ultimate prom tux and dress is half the fun but it's also expensive. A little help can go a long way. Jacket For Jobs is a local organization that understands the importance and expense of prom dress shopping therefore they will be hosting their annual prom dress donation.

In their Prom Dress Giveaway 2014, Jacket For Jobs is seeking prom, bridesmaid and fancy evening party dresses. All dresses must be cleaned, on a hanger, and have no broken zippers. Currently, there is a major need for dresses that are a size 14 or larger.

Shoes, wraps, evening bags, and jewelry are also in need and welcomed. "Last year we collected over a hundred dresses and we hope to do the same this year", says Jacket For Jobs founder, Alison Vaughn.

Donations can be made Tuesday through Friday, from 9am to 3pm at 5555 Conner, Suite 2097 Detroit MI. The deadline is April 5. For more information on the Prom Dress Giveaway and Jacket For Jobs, visit jacketsforjobs.org.
