"The Flash" Coming To The CW

The Flash has always been one of my favorite super heroes. When I was younger I loved watching the Justice League and seeing all the adventures the Flash went on. So you could only imagine how excited I got when I heard that Warner Bros. TV is starting production on "The Flash" pilot, a spinoff from "Arrow", which will air on CW50.

Actor Grant Gustin first appeared on "Arrow" as the Central City criminal investigator Barry Allen. He was in two episodes which ended with the freak accident that transformed Barry into the Flash. Grant has also acted in "Glee" as Sebastian Smythe the former lead singer of the Dalton Academy Warblers and on "90210" as Campbell Price.

Little is known about the plot of this new show but Warner Bros. TV did release a photo of the Flash's mask. The designer of Arrow's costume, three-time Oscar winner Colleen Atwood, also designed the new Flash costume.

I can't wait for the reveal of the rest of it… especially the boots (I love boots!) Every artist and designer has their own take on comic book characters and I can't wait to see where Colleen will go with the Flash's costume when it comes to CW50.

UPDATED 3/11/14:

The CW and Warner Bros. have finally released the full-costume shot of Gustin's Barry Allen in his awesome Flash suit. Check it out and let us know what you think!
