Calling all kids! Do you like to build and destroy while learning at the same time? The Michigan Science Center's (Mi-Sci) newest hands-on Kidstruction Zone exhibit is just for you.

The new special space is designed with 10 separate interactive build zones for the architect or engineer inside all of you. Build large structures with giant Legos, create detailed buildings with Keva planks, invent futuristic vehicles with k'nex and get inspired with other Kidstruction building supplies.

The fun runs through the weekend as Mi-Sci celebrates Halloween with a Monster Mash party. This event features a full afternoon of tricks and treats, including mummy wrap contests, a Backwards Urgent Care station where kids can make scabs and boogers, along with a potions lab and make-n-take crafts throughout the building.

In addition, Saturday's Ask the Expert series will feature arachnids. Mi-Sci Outreach coordinator Charles Gibson will help guests learn more about spiders and other arachnids while sharing his collection of live specimens.

This is great for all ages, and Kidstruction Zone is free with paid museum admission.
