Teen Vogue’s ‘Back At It’ Event Showcases Back To School Lifestyle

The back to school season is quickly approaching therefore there is plenty to do before the first day of classes begin. In addition to shopping for essential school supplies, young fashionistas have the added pressure of also shopping for stylish and confident looks for the new school year.
One local event is making it easy and fun for young fashion lovers to shop to look their best while spending wisely. Simon Property Group, Inc. (NYSE:SPG), a large retail real estate company, is hosting a series of “Back At It” events that are aimed towards tweens and teens prepping for the back-to-school season.
This year, Simon Property Group has collaborated with Teen Vogue to host the “Back At It” event. Simon and Teen Vogue have both expressed plenty of excitement over the partnership for this year’s event.
“The beginning of a new school year is an exciting time,” said Denise Murray, director of marketing and business development at Briarwood Mall, “and as always, we want Briarwood Mall to be at the center of the celebration. This year, we are especially excited to be teaming up with Teen Vogue, the authentic source for young trendsetters interested in emerging fashion, beauty, and pop culture.”
Teen Vogue Vice President and Publisher, Jason Wagenheim shared that sentiment over this year’s “Back At It” event. “We are thrilled to be working with Simon Malls to further expand and elevate our Back-to-School Saturday initiative.”
Wagenheim also says, “Joining forces for this all-important shopping season was an obvious choice. This time of year is incredibly significant for the Teen Vogue audience, and together with Simon Malls, we will work to drive our collective communities into stores to shop while building both awareness and excitement for all of our participating brands.”
The “Back At It” event is an opportunity for students and their families to prepare for school in style with a variety of fun activities. The activities include live performances by Tyler Barber and Andrew Bazzi, a Color IQ Station from Sephora, pizza sampling from California Pizza Kitchen, cookie decorating with Mrs. Fields Cookies, and of course, there will be fashion shows presented by The Buckle and Wet Seal, and more.

Briarwood mall will also offer plenty of discount offers and samples for back-to-school shopping. Essentially, there will be plenty to enjoy for back-to-school shopping for fashionistas. The “Back At It” will be held at Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor on Saturday, August 10 from 2 to 5 p.m.
