Crohn's and Colitis with WYCD's Dr. Don

Did you know one in 200 Americans has an Irritable Bowel Disease? Dr. Don, radio host of the "Dr. Don Show" on 99.5 WYCD, is one of them.

Dr. Don suffers from Crohn's, a disease related to IBD that affects the large and small intestines. It can cause fatigue, fever, severe pain in the intestines, and rectal bleeding.

Another disease derived from IBD is Colitis which is similar to Crohn's but affects the Colon rather than the intestines. Both Crohn's and Colitis are chronic inflammatory conditions that affect the gastrointestinal tract.

In this interview, Dr. Don, who is the emcee for the upcoming Metro Detroit Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis, discusses his personal experience with Crohn's disease and how its emergence in his life has opened his eyes, and his heart, to those who suffer from Crohn's.
